Keble Chapel

A programme of sacred works, both solo and ensemble, that mark a momentous shift in music history: the shift from the rigidity of the Late Renaissance to the freedom of the early Baroque. Composers are to include Palestrina, Rusca, Monteverdi and F. Caccini among others. As ever, we will take care to present these dramatic works in the context of historically informed pronunciation and ornamentation.
Do come along to Keble at Chapel to hear works by these wonderful composers at 8:30pm on Tuesday the 21st May. Tickets will be available on the door and wine will be on sale.
